Working Wanderers

Funded by JD Foundation, our Working Wanderers project aims to help ‘NEET’ 16-25 year olds into education, employment or training. This initiative supports young people to improve their confidence, teamwork, leadership and communication skills while providing them with employability support.

Courses take place 3x per week over 4 weeks and help small groups of young adults develop the skills they need to help find and sustain meaningful employment. Participants receive support around CV writing, job searches, job applications and interview preparation as well as taking part in work experience opportunities with BWitC, Bolton Wanderers Football Club and other local employers. We also provide an aftercare service which ensures that participants continue to receive tailored support once they have completed a course.
