BWitC Hosts Mini Police Event

Bolton Wanderers in the Community (BWitC) in partnership with Greater Manchester Police (GMP) hosted their Mini Police celebration event on Tuesday 1^st July.

The partnership between BWitC and GMP, brings children from across Bolton and the police together to look into the work that goes into keeping our community safe.

The first and final sessions were held at the home of BWFC, the Toughsheet Community Stadium. The events invited participants to take part in stadium tours and coaching sessions with special visits from the Mayor of Bolton and the Deputy Mayor of Greater Manchester.

The Mini Police programme aims to build bridges between the police force and young people who may have encountered police in a negative way and to hopefully change opinions.
