BWitC work with Bolton Manbassadors to Raise Awareness of Men’s Mental Health
Our team joined Bolton Manbassadors to walk from Bolton’s Town Hall to the Toughsheet Community Stadium ahead of today’s match against Peterborough.
The Walk of Hope led by Bolton at Home’s Bolton Manbassadors aimed raise awareness of Men’s mental health & suicide prevention. Coinciding with World Mental Health Day on Friday 10th October and September’s Suicide Prevention Month the event brought together organisations from across Bolton who support Men struggling with their Mental Health.
Keep an out at Half-Time as the walkers will be doing a lap of the pitch.
In the run up to World Mental Health Bolton Wanderers in the Community and Bolton at Home will be releasing a series of videos featuring BWFC fans, Men’s First Team players and general public. Asking people to name something they are proud of or grateful for with the hope of being able to leave each other in a more positive mindset. By talking about the good things in our lives hopefully we can all begin to open up about our struggles.
Keep an eye out for our videos across all BWitC social platforms this week.
