Bolton Wanderers Community Trust releases Impact Report
Bolton Wanderers Community Trust is delighted to release their Impact Report for 2020, which highlights the fantastic work that their staff have carried out across Bolton to support the community over the last 12 months amidst a global pandemic.
Using sport and positive engagement, Bolton Wanderers Community Trust provides quality experiences to the wider community of Bolton, focusing on narrowing the gap of disadvantage in Health, Education, Disability and Inclusion.
On the release of the Report, Bolton Wanderers Football Club Chairman Sharon Brittan said: “Bolton Wanderers Community Trust has once again adapted and continued to provide support to the most vulnerable people of Bolton so that they don’t unduly suffer as a consequence of isolation or financial challenges resulting from the pandemic.
“They have shown incredible resilience and flexibility during this time and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole team for all they have carried out in our community and our town on behalf of Bolton Wanderers. This is a true testament to what we stand for as One Club, One Community, One Town.
“I hope you enjoy reading the pages of this report and I wish to encourage you to support the Community Trust in any way you can.”
Speaking about the past 12 months, Head of Community, Phil Mason, said: “It has been a challenging year for everyone and as a charity we have adapted to support the community and the urgent needs that have become more acute during the pandemic. This would not be possible if it was not for a dedicated trustee, staff and volunteer team and for the support we receive from funders and partners.”
