Organisational Learning Centre Announced as Joint Headline Sponsor for Annual Charity Dinner 2025
Bolton Wanderers in the Community are pleased to announce Organisational Learning Centre (OLC) as the joint Headline Sponsor for the return of our Charity Dinner 2025.
The annual dinner is BWitC’s signature fundraising event, bringing together community leaders, local organisations and supporters to raise vital funds to continue supporting the ever growing, ever changing needs of our town.
OLC has always been in Search of Excellence since 1998 and received accolades and praise from British Accreditation Council, Lloyds Quality Assurance, Quality Assurance Agency and Pearson demonstrate the application of best practice within Higher Education.
OLC has a distinctive spirit that embraces inclusivity, compassion and resilience. It is dedicated to excellence in higher education and has an embedded vision of improving its positive impact on the societies it serves.
OLC’s HQ campus is in Bolton at the Old County Police Station on Castle Street and they have campuses in Manchester, Oldham and London. OLC have approximately 300 full time students enrolled at each campus.
Danny Russell, Partnerships, Recruitment and Marketing Manager, reflected on the partnership, “OLC College recognises the vital role that Bolton Wanderers in the Community (BWitC) plays in improving lives across Bolton and the wider region. Through programmes that promote education, health and wellbeing, inclusion, and community cohesion, BWitC creates lasting social value and addresses some of the most pressing challenges facing local people.”
“By supporting BWitC, OLC College strengthens its own commitment to social responsibility, community engagement, and the development of future generations. The partnership provides opportunities for our students to engage directly with meaningful initiatives, gaining practical experience in leadership, mentoring, coaching, and community service. We see BWitC as a company that we share many values with and have recently enrolled 3 students directly from the Aspire Project. We hope that many more of the service users from the Aspire Project will follow that same pathway and come to study at OLC. These experiences not only enhance employability but also foster personal growth, resilience, and a deeper sense of civic duty.”
“This mutually beneficial partnership allows progression from BWitC to OLC for potential students such as those from The Aspire Project. There is also potential for OLC students to volunteer with BWitC enhancing their career opportunities.”
“We are pleased to continue our partnership with OLC Learning as they support our Charity Dinner” said Ben Lawton, CEO of Bolton Wanderers in the Community “As an organisation that already works with our employability programme OLC’s sponsorship further highlights their commitment to supporting young people across our town. As Joint Headline Sponsors their generosity helps us expand our reach to positively impact even more individuals who rely on our support.”
BWitC’s Charity Dinner invites guests to celebrate the amazing work our team do, enjoy a 3 course meal and witness talks from guest speakers with proceeds directly funding the work we do across our town. The perfect opportunity to celebrate, network and create lasting change.
